minnehaha pointed out that the work that the city was putting into the old Sear's building on Lake Street was almost certainly having an effect on Uncle Hugo's, and the effect was almost certainly not positive.
And I think she's right, and I think her suggestion was a good one.
Uncle Hugo's has given a lot to the community over the years, and we should give back.
So, the modest proposal is, sometime soon, make the effort to go by Uncle Hugo's, and buy a book. Or a gift certificate. Or some magazines, or games, or whatever strikes your fancy.
