davidschrothSpent time tonight acquiring the airline tickets for the ConJose trip. The transaction was a little more complicated than the usual purchase of an airline ticket, because we were trying to transfer a travel voucher I'd received for agreeing to be bumped from a flight to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

This required our physical presence in front of a ticketing agent to verify that I was who I was, and had the right to transfer the voucher, and etc. End result - airline tickets for all. lsanderson spent, in his words, "Fifteen years accumulation of frequent flyer miles" on his ticket. I get the impression that he doesn't fly much on NWA. I spent $316.50 on my ticket, which seemed a perfectly reasonable price to me (I don't really want to know how much less I could have paid). All in all, a successful evening. Although I still want to know what lsanderson was laughing about (it appeared that he was laughing at us, but he wouldn't divulge exactly what it was about us he was laughing at).
I spent the day fighting unexpected fires (and not preparing for the upcoming move). I finally realized how much I have left to do, and how little time I have left to do it in, and now I'm getting really anxious. This, too, shall pass.
It appears that I will be going to Rock the Garden at the Walker Art Center Sculpture Garden on Friday evening. I have no idea what this entails, but I guess I'll find out.
