There Must Be An Election Coming...

...I had Election Judge training on Wednesday night (right before I transported a squirrel from our yard to my squirrel disposal area).

I've received (but not yet opened) my absentee ballot. I'm not at all sure who I want to vote for, and the candidates aren't helping. I just visited the web pages of all of the candidates, and discovered they all seem to be lacking in substance.

This is the most under the radar election I remember of late (except of course judges). All the candidates seem to be generically wonderful and progressive but lack specifics. I guess I'm considering Ben Schweigert because he has the endorsement of my union and Karen Clark.

Well, the Primary is on Tuesday, and the only race on my absentee ballot was for Hennepin County Commissioner.

I'm going with Ms. Green, but only because she wants to emphasise Early Childhood Education. I think they're all in thrall to the Kenwood elite when it comes to the Southwest LRT.
