We Tried the Tasting Menu at Heidi's Last Night

We being lsanderson, mizzlaurajean , and yours truly.

This was the first opportunity to have A stay with Babushka Mary and Deodushka Bob while we went out.

The meal was delicious (I assume mizzlaurajean will post food pictures, eventually).

The first course was some kind of egg foam in an eggshell - out of the ordinary, but tasty.
Second course was Beet Salad - I think I enjoyed this the most.
Third course was tempura brocolli and frog's leg. I've never had frog's legs before; they were tasty.
Fourth course was papardelle in truffle sauce.
Fifth course was salmon something. Tasty, but mizzlaurajean didn't care for the texture.
Sixth course was lamb shank on a bed of jasmine rice. Delicious, but my least favorite dish.
Seventh course was strawberry soup with sour cream sorbet. Delicious!

The casual observer will note that while I was not as fond of the lamp as you and mizzlaurajean were, I still had no difficulty finishing my portion and the portion that mizzlaurajean was unable to finish...
