Is It Something To Do With the Approaching Solstice

I'm noting that many (more than two) of my LJ friends are up late and early, recently.

I'm up (and at work) earlier than normal, but I have a good excuse - we had to drop laurafish's car off at the shop.

I had a good excuse at 3am, but now I'm being told it should not have been "call required", and let the users use day old data, fix it in daylight.

Mumble. I'm going home early, I think. Maybe. We'll see.

My experience suggests that all excuses sound good at 3am...
