If lower taxes were the key to economic prosperity, wouldn't it have worked by now? Teachers, nurses, social workers...this is who needs to sacrifice more while the wealthy pay historically low rates (lower than Reagan had them paying)? It's gutless to cut the safety net without asking those at the top to give up that extra yacht so that 30 other children could get lunch in school.

Oh, the only reason "lower taxes" hasn't worked is that they haven't been lowered enough. They should be reduced until they cover nothing but defense from Alien Enemies (and, of course, the payment of elected Politicians' salaries). Or so important conservatives seem to be saying.

If you assume a 2 million dollar yacht which isn't that outrageous, many were more at the site I found, and 2.27 per school lunch according to the government website, it was worth over 700,000 lunches. You could get many more breakfasts because those cost like half as much.
