We've been vacillating over whether or not we want to go to the fair this year.

Anyone else interested in a group expedition?

Maybe. I have 2 tours of duty planned already, first one on Sun. What date were you thinking?
I do know that the day Charlie Daniels band plays at Mainstage is free, so that's the day to avoid. And from experience, senior day is bad too.

I'm interested in a group Renn fest thing, too.

The Geek Day at the Fair thing sounds fun. I was thinking of going on Sunday and maybe intersecting with other fans at odd points.

While not a Fair person I can offer a nice shady spot to park one's vehicles that is one block from convenient bus access to the Fair. And, come to think of it, Ericka likes going to the fair and might be interested in an outing if people are willing to drive her there and back. (She tends to tire quickly, so if anyone wanted a short day at the Fair, she's the perfect excuse.)
