My Antonia
Feb. 20th, 2010 10:07 amLast night I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of My Antonia at the Illusion Theater, thanks to
lsanderson. I know I've read the book, but that was more than a few years ago, and I really carried no preconceptions into the theater.
I very much enjoyed the play, in part because of some purely personal resonances (My grandfather's Port of Entry was Omaha, Nebraska; the family has a picture of my grandmother next to her soddie).
I'd recommend seeing the play if you get the opportunity; it's playing through March 20 at the Illusion.
