The second Minicon 38 open meeting was on Sunday. In attendance were Laura Jean Fish, Larry Sanderson, Susan B Levy Haskell, Lyddy Nickerson, Beth Friedman, Rachael Lininger, Mia McDavid, Glenn McDavid, and Peer Dudda (all as best I remember). The meeting was pretty short - Laura and Larry handed out some information packets, and there was some short discussion. Rachael is going to be GoH liaison for Sue Mason - I think she'll do a good job. She mentioned several good ideas she'd had (I really like the idea she has for a chap book for Sue Mason). Mia agreed to be GoH liaison for Steve Macdonald, and Glenn agreed to act as Recording Secretary. Only bad news from meeting was that Andrew wasn't going to be able to produce a new ad for Wiscon - time to dig out the old ad and send it along. After the meeting, Rachael, Susan, Larry, Laura, and I dined at a Greek Restaurant on Nicollet Avenue (just south of where Chez Paul used to be). Food was okay, company was splendid. Encountered Tiarawa Smith and friend, who were also dining in restaurant, which reminded me I need to write (and send) a letter to Ms. Smith asking her if she'd like to contribute prose/artwork to the Minicon 38 Program Book.
