So Tie-Tie
Mar. 25th, 2008 12:33 pmSometime around the 15th,
elizabethth informed me that the copy of A Magic of Twilight they'd ordered for me had arrived. What with one thing or another, I was unable to swing by Dreamhaven and purchase the book until Saturday.
I have since been staying up way too late reading the book. The only reason I didn't do an all-nighter Saturday night/Sunday morning was because we were scheduled for Easter dinner with
mizzlaurajean's family at her Aunt and Uncle's house, and I knew that falling asleep during dinner is not considered acceptable behavior.
So, the reading got spread out over several days, and last night I (once again) stayed up too late and finished the book.
I'm impressed - I enjoyed the book very much. So much that I think I'm going to have to chain the author to his word processor during AppleCon so he can polish up the next volume, with the idea of not having too wait so long for its appearance.
Since that would be a really shabby way to treat a GoH, I probably won't do that - but the temptation is definitely there.

FWIW, the second volume is slated for March 09; I doubt Sheila's gonna budge much on that. And I'm glad you liked the book, David. Thanks for the kind comments (which is the real reason most of us write... It sure ain't for the money!)
