I have to say my favorite WWII note comes from the Simpson's.

It's the last day of school-everyone's watching the clock tick down...the bell rings...the children _fly_ out of the building and one lone teacher screams "Wait! Wait!"

The kids all freeze outside.

"World War II?"

"We won!"

And the crowd goes wild...
