While I'm not real clear on the path involved, it appears that Harriet Manor ended up with two ladles and a knife from the wake for Mike Ford. They're now washed and dried, and waiting for their owner(s) to reclaim them.

On the other hand, I'm clear on the path, and unclear on the participants, for this next item - a paper grocery bag filled with magazines and paper grocery bags. I have a good idea as to the source, and a guess on the destination. If anyone would care to enlighten us, we'll attempt to move the grocery bag and its contents on to its eventual destination.

And on the gripping hand, I need to figure out how to lose a book. [livejournal.com profile] lee_os and [livejournal.com profile] hunnythistle will understand when they get back in town.

I'd suggest a good old-fashioned book burning. Or maybe you could just send it up with the next shuttle.

Great, so when the aliens come and discover the neglected remains of the ISS, they will find this book there and take it to have great import to our planet and its culture. Then they shall incinerate what remains of our civilization to save us from ourselves and to ensure that such things do not find their way to other solar systems.

Did you find Meerah's magic wand? It magically disappeared somewhere. About a foot long with a silver star at the end.........

...I vaguely remember her dropping it as she went out of the house onto the front porch. But I also vaguely remember her picking it right back up.

We'll keep our eyes peeled, though...

When I got home, I found I was mistaken - [livejournal.com profile] mizzlaurajean had found the wand when she got home.

It's available for retrieval, although I'm wishing we'd found it sooner...
