I really have to replace my Firesign Theater albums with CDs.
Arrived at work at the ungodly hour of 10:00 am, and spent the day rewriting a piece of critical infrastructure code. If I'm going to break the OS, there's no sense doing it halfway. Put together materials for a forthcoming code inspection. Fortunately, I *looked* at the code before I sent it out - found a couple of bugs in some of the alternates. Some quick repair work, and the package was assembled and (mostly) distributed. I imagine the whining starts tomorrow, even though it is (by my standards) a relatively small fix (~200 lines of assembler).
Went straight from work to the Health Club, in an attempt to get into the habit of exercising. It's working better than usual - I was sore Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - as expected - but the soreness seemed to pass by Tuesday. Which is about a week earlier than it should. Not that I'm complaining, mind you...
Tomorrow is "Bring Your Child to Work" day at Unisys - I prepared for it by bringing the Great Wall of Dilbert up to date - I was only eleven days behind. I expect I'll have to endure strangers commenting on what a mess my cube is (in addition to the usual comments from co-workers).
