hmm. The description starts by lamenting how much food Americans throw away uneaten, but it looks like this app is pretty much dedicated to making sure that even more gets thrown away by conflating "safe" with "optimal flavor."

Honestly, do you need an app to tell you when fish has gone bad?

We already know that "expiration dates" are a fiction, right? Except for baby formula, which is the only one actually regulated.
