I Hope This Works...
Mar. 3rd, 2015 05:35 pm...it seems like a pretty good idea.
"I started this website because our family, like most families, seems to have way too much “stuff.” As parents of two growing children in Minneapolis schools, we are always in transition, constantly adding new stuff to our household and boxing up what we no longer need. For one reason or another, I never get around to dropping off our used things at a donation site. That’s how I came up with the idea behind Exchange4Good. The intention is to find good homes for our gently used items, and hopefully to also find some needed things that we can reclaim from others in our own community. I like knowing that my stuff will be going to people who can really use whatever I no longer need. And then what if as an added bonus, the proceeds from selling my items go to a charity I really care about? Now that would truly be a win/win/win situation. So, in the spirit of reducing and reusing, I am hoping that if we all pool together the many things we no longer need, we can make a significant difference in our local communities. Let’s reuse, recycle and raise a little money for a good cause! In doing so, we all win. That’s the essence behind Exchange4Good. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, I would love to hear from you. Please contact me at contact@exchange4good.com. ~ Erin"
