Can You Canoe?
May. 5th, 2014 05:13 pmWhen we went to Rockin' the Cradle at MIA, we happened to see the Okee-Dokee Brothers play a couple of songs. Some weeks later I picked up a copy of their CD, Can You Canoe, thinking it would be a nice change from the CDs that A has in heavy rotation in the car.
Wow.
This is a great CD, and these guys are good. Their lyrics range from extremely silly to extremely literate.
Now I want to hear friends doing their take on some of these songs (It might be a lot of fun to hear Along For the Ride paired with The Girl Who Never Was).
