So, A and I go to swim lessons this morning. And after changing, we walk into the pool area. A guy standing against the wall asks "Weren't you at the Whittier Alliance Annual Meeting the other day?" I admit that I was, and remember that he was sitting between the doors, not too far from where I was standing.
"And weren't you the guy who asked the second question? The one about the Strategic Plan?" I again answer in the affirmative.
"Well, that was a great question. Thank you for asking it. What a great way to separate the stooges from the people who care about the neighborhood."
I hadn't thought anybody had noticed.
