I went out a couple of hours ago, and shoveled off the walks - the idea being that I'd have less to shovel when it finally stopped snowing. Also, it seemed like a good time to remove the pedestrian-packed snow, under the theory that no sane pedestrian would be out after dark in the cold and snow.

Lydy and I were out doing that earlier, too. I suspect it hardly shows now.

I am making the disgusted-cat face at the snow which is again - AGAIN! - coming down.

I think I shall stay inside until April.

(Eric was magnificent and shoveled the walk this morning.)

I have now shoveled twice, and anticipate having to shovel again once the snow finally stops falling.

Global warming is clearly not my friend.

"Will No One Rid Me of This Turbulent Winter?"

*heh* It's funny because it's true. And because I've been watching The Tudors. And I always get Thomas More mixed up with that turbulent priest, Thomas Beckett.

And understandably, I think. Because if history has taught us anything it's that if you happen to become king of an absolute monarchy, appointing your best buddy to be chancellor is not as good an idea as it sounds like.

And here I thought that was unique to me...
