Would your answer change if you had to continually attend staff meetings, HSI meetings, various sorts of task farce meetings, ... ,etc., between now and then?

It's far enough out that it doesn't show up on my calendar. Yet.

Since I've long had a policy of attending only those meetings I want to attend, I don't actually see a problem here.

Of course, want to attend most frequently describes meetings I attend for self-preservation...
