davidschrothA week ago (Wednesday, September 24), Minneapolis fan serendipoz entered the hospital for surgery. My understanding is that the surgery itself went well, but that there were unexpected complications during recuperation/rehab. I spoke to her twice today; once while she was still in the ICU, and once after she had been moved out of the ICU. She's looking at more time in hospital, followed by time in a care facility, before she can return home.
I know she would appreciate telephone calls or visits (she's at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis - the general number there being (612) 863-4000). I was told that the hospital does not allow delivery of flowers to her (although I may have heard incorrectly). While I don't have direct knowledge, I suspect that her internet access can be characterised as either limited or non-existent.
