I Grow Too Soon Old, and Too Late Smart

I made a public post yesterday, something I rarely do.

And the post has attracted comments from anonymous.

Comments I'm finding irritating. They have the phrasing I'd expect from a local asshole/hack fantasy writer, as well as the same confident assertion that things are as they say they are, even when they likely don't have any knowledge to back up such assertions. Indeed, the confident assertions usually ended up being the equivalent of black is white, or up is down, or the Iraqis will welcome our troops with cheers and thrown flowers, and we'll be out of Iraq in six months.

So I'm going to do what I should have done from the beginning - disallow anonymous comments.
