Possibly; I certainly have email notifications turned on. I never go back to look at old entries, basically, so I'd never see comments otherwise.

If you're not, then you're one of the few. Why wouldn't you? Sometimes people comment on old postings; sometimes spammers add a comment to a dead thread.

I have it turned on, with messages then filtered to go straight to my LJ box in Eudora. But, yes, the messages also show up here on LJ, in the Message Center. I haven't yet figured out how to turn that off, so I go empty 'em out every once in awhile.

I'll be interested to learn if there's anybody else from your friends list there with you on the Group W bench of no email notifications. I'll be it's a small group, if there's any group at all.
